Rice Journey

Rice's Journey

In the Country Food Trading Company, we believe in the importance of agricultural sustainability of environmental resources, including water and natural fertilizers, in order to preserve soil fertility and the quality and health of agricultural crops. For this reason, we apply several modern farming techniques in our farms to achieve our goal and vision.

Rice goes through many stages for you to receive

Stage Procedures
Laboratory stage

In which moisture and quality are checked, the cleaning stage, then filtering, then sorting the sizes, then the moisture withdrawal stage, then the evaporation stage, then the drying stage

Stage Procedures
Transportation stage

The stage of packing and shipping to the port and before transferring it to the ship, the quality is checked in the Saudi quality inspection centers based in India, then it is transferred to the ship and remains for 12 days at sea

Stage Procedures
Customs clearance and examination stage

The stage of customs clearance and examination of the Food and Drug Authority

Stage Procedures
Packing and shipping stage

It is approved and transported to warehouses in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after which it remains for two months to dry before selling from the humidity of the sea

Stage Procedures
Distribution stage

Exporting the products to the commercial markets to sell the products

Our technologies, for environmental sustainability

Aerobic Rice Cultivation Technology

We adopt a zero-tillage system on our farms, to reduce costs and increase yields of cultivated wheat. Wetting and drying alternately or air-cultivating rice results in 30-50% water savings and a higher rice yield increase.

Laser tractor Technology

Laser-assisted land leveling is another of our techniques to conserve environmental resources. This is because uneven fields lead to wasted water, less-than-optimal germination and lower yields.

Nitrogen management technology

Our farmers organically manage weeds and insects; This is done through nitrogen management technology, by cultivating rice with alfalfa; This improves soil fertility and eliminates weeds. Cultivation of legumes, especially beans, also fixes nitrogen in the soil. Summer beans yield 1.45 tons per hectare in untilled soil and add nitrogen to it. Studies indicate that this method used in other farms has led to savings of $745,000.
